The Station Hotel, Thornaby

t12962The Station Hotel was once opposite the Town Hall on Mandale Road, Thornaby. It was also known as the Clock and in the late 1940s changed its name to The Flying Dutchman. It was later demolished to make way for the one way system.

  1. Steve, my mam is 87 and grew up in this pub. Is there any way I can bring her to see the sign? I live in hope xxx

  2. There was a report on the local news last night about the son of the former landlord/landlady of the Flying Dutchman Public House, he has just managed to get his hands on the original pub sign which he came across on the internet, its come back to him all the way from New Zealand I believe
