A great view of the old underground toilets at the market, what happened to them, were they just filled in or demolished? Talking about Market toilets I must compliment Stockton Council and the attendents of the new toilets in Stockton Market as I believe they would be one of the cleanest and tidiest tiolets I have ever visited, I am a bit of an expert as I visit public toilets wherever I visit, I suppose the cold weather has something to do with it or could it be the old mans problem! Whatever it is, it was a pleasant surprise to see the condition of the Stockton Market toilets. Well done.

The cloths stall between the column and toilet building was my grandmothers May Jones.
