  1. Mr. Chapman, eventually became Headmaster of the Senior School. Gave me six-of-the-best when I was sent to him for talking. Definitely not the best thing to get.

  2. I recall my school days south modern Bllingham entering the assembly hall and Mr Martindale the head master would be inspecting the pupils footwear for cleanliness. I recently found out that he served in the Coldstream Guards so he would be well aware of spit polish. I would love to know more of his history, was he an officer during the war? I know about spit and polish, I served three years in the regiment. Peter Dickenson, school years 1945 – 55.

  3. My sister Margaret Edwards is sitting 6th from the left front row beside Mr Chapman with Pat Moody to her left side. On the back row 5th left is John? Bob? Kier and 8th is John Tierney. Paula you knew my sister and family.

  4. I know seven faces but I can only name one. I remember Mr Chapman he was our form master. I went to that school until 1952.
