In the 60’s the business on the right of the picture (Manners and Harrison) used to be the Delicatessen or simply the “Deli”. It was a coffee bar and delicatessen and was a great meeting place on a Saturday afternoon for the young people of Stockton.
The printers name was Appleby’s not Heavesides which was in Finkle Street on the other side of the High Street.
The building must be Heavesides the printers, to the left is Roberts Wet Fish shop
Looks like the just before Christmas.
