  1. This business was in the hands of a family called Mason they had a workshop off Ware Street this was in the 1940`s and 50`s they had a daughter called Judith who I went to school with.

    • I am Judyth! I still live in Stockton and I remember you Joyce. I think your maiden name was Atkinson. I used to come to your house for lunch because the provided school dinners were disgusting!!!

  2. Am I right in saying there was a funeral directors working from these premises in the 1950’s and maybe from this shop?

  3. When I was a kid it was Mason’s undertakers and they also had taxi’s to hire. I was taken to church in one of them when I got married in 1959.

  4. I have seen this photo on another site giving a little more detail of which I can only read so much, 31 to 32 Providence Terrace, dated 1920
