The Zetland social club used to be in Bridge Road before it was in Hartington Rd.
Yes it was the Zetland social club built in the late 40s has the old Zetland club a house in Bridge road near the corner of parliament street was to small for the big membership , sadly it has gone the way of most of the working mens clubs that were very popular in those days ,
How on earth was planning permission given for that pub to be built in the first place among was used to be palatial residencial homes?!
