  1. Does anyone know of a Lockheed Hudson crash that happened in Blida (North Africa) in May 1943. It crashed on take-off with all on board unfortunately killed. In particular, I am trying to trace anyone who knew of L/AC Norman ‘Pat’ Wood who was one of the casualties.

  2. Hi
Does anyone know if C Lee is in the photo? I am trying to work out what his relationship is to my grandparents (they received xmas cards from him during the war).

  3. Thanks for showing photos of 608 Squadron. My Father Tommy Lyall was a Sergeant in the Medical Corp at Thornaby. There was a memorial event some years back in Thornaby Town Hall of the Squadron & I gave photos to be shown here via the late Johnny Pollack. Hope these are still in the archives.

  4. Please does anyone know if my great grand-dad, Henry Suttill (Band Master) is included in this, or any of the photographs on here. Thankyou.

  5. Hi, do you have please the names of the people in this photo? My father, Neil McCourt I/we think maybe on there, second from the right, standing.

    • Yes Neil…I think you’re right…I`m pretty sure that’s dad, second from right. I remember seeing old photos, also a painted portrait, that had actually gone into the sea and recovered
