Sorry to hear Barbara passed away, Len. I remember her as a very cheery and kind person, always interested in others. Ken’s daughter, Sarah Sheraton.

My late wife, Joan Crawford of Norton attended Richard Hind School from 1950 – 1954. Have any class mates got any school photos of her? I think she was in the hockey team. Thanks Derek.
Look how smart these girls are with their uniforms and peggy bags on their shoulders. If these girls were caught out of school in their uniform without their beret on, they got punished.
Some of the girls in this photo are back-row 2nd from right Eileen Ibbotson, middle-row 5th left, Judy Hollifield, 5th right, Margaret Douglas, front-row 6th left Marie Smith, 7th left, Pamela Angus.
The girl 2nd from right on back row is actually Irene Ibbotson, her brother Ron was a friend of mine, he also attended the Hind.
I went to Richard Hind from 1955 until 1959. I am not included in this photo but I do recognize some of the girls shown. I left Stockton in 1968 after graduating from Grangefield GS and moved to London. I do remember Miss Foster and the principal Mr ?
Susan – I must have been the year before you at Richard Hind Juniors.
I also remember Miss Foster, who would forget her! The name of the headmaster was Mr Olver, although everybody misread his signature and called him Mr Oliver!
This is the Richard Hind Juniors which had no connection with Richard Hind Senior School which was a secondary technical which you had to pass part of the eleven plus to attend. Dave Day, I am sorry about the mistake with Miss Ibbotson’s Christian name.
