It used to be lovely there. We lived on Norton Avenue and I spent many hours in the park and in the library which I think is in the background here. It must have been safe too because we lived on the opposite side of the road and my mam used to put the dog across the road and she came and got me and led me by the wrist back to opposite the house where she barked for my mam to come and cross us over, the dog died when I was 5 or 6!
It was a pretty and symmetrical park. Is it gone? I heard the library went. The area looks very different now, someone elses childhood now.
