Wow, i actually went to this show and afterwards at the stage door ,we got Al Reads autograph. We also watched Jimmy Clitheroe get into his car and it was amazing, the clutch and brake pedals had wooden blocks fixed on them so he could reach them and the seat well padded so he could see through the windscreen. It was great to see our Sunday afternoon Wireless (Radio ) heroes and actually talk to them. Also got to meet Julius Nehring , and I still have the photo Penny Nichols gave me. Thanks for the wonderful memories.
