Hi I worked in the ballroom and the cocktail bar in the eighties, quite sad to see it demolished I live in the south west now so don’t get back in the north east very often but have good memories of my time working in the Billingham Arms

The end of an era, many a Friday and Saturday night spent there in my younger days.
The Billingham Arms ‘Ward Room’ contained panelling from the Smoking Room of Titanic’s sister ship, HMHS Britannic. I hope it was removed before demolition.
