This painting for me brings back wonderful memories of our visits to Stockton over the years, after living in South Africa for five years and now Australia for Fifty Years, I still have fond Memories of Stockton., Alas my wife Marie died thirteen years ago, and would have been 85 years old on June 9th last week. I do not think I will be able to manage another visit what with age and this terrible Virus plaguing us, but send my best wishes to all my surviving friends and relatives. There are not many of us left..

Nice to see Tony getting a bit of publicity. Maybe we need another class reunion in the not too distant future
Highly evocative, this one… the couple remind me somewhat of my ‘sixties’ classmate Eric Short’s mam and dad (Renee and Bill), also of Stockton, in their later years. They were very wonderful people who treated me as another son through my troubled teenage years.
