Hi Anne, I think we’ve established this is from Bright Street, looking at the back of The Storytellers (previously several schools/places of education) and the old post office on Dovecot St.
The three arched windows are reminiscent of a building in Dovecote Street, which stood between the Friends Meeting House and the General Post Office. If correct, then the large building on the right will be the rear of the General Post Office. And the photo would have been taken in Bright Street.

Thornaby
Nope, it’s still Stockton, see earlier comments (from 2017) for the exact location.
Is it the back of the old Stockton and Thornaby hospital?

Could of been taken around the same time as these photos from Dovecot St. side:

Not sure, but looks like it could be part of old Middlesbrough General Hospital, alongside Ayresome Green Lane
Is it the wall between the Stockton Secondary School on Nelson Terrace and Dovecot Street?
The reliant is 1974
