  1. This photo has been taken from the river edge towards the back of the building. The bay window on the 1st floor is where the room was used as a conference room when HW’s took it over and maybe later used by Sir John Wrightson. It was panelled all round in white English oak by us meaning me and George Reeve. He was the joiner and I was the apprentice.

  2. Great picture for us to jog our memories… I’m seeking news of John Boyes, Billingham, railway enthusiast. Please get in touch if you knew or have news of him. I think, maybe, he lived at the lower part of Central Avenue. If you remember John, please send me an email. Thanks Chris.

    • Chris Parkin,
Bad news regarding John Boyes I’m afraid. I believe he died a few years ago. Picture Stockton have my permission to give you my email address if you would like further details.
