For 2 weeks in February 1995, Blyth Valley writer Barry Stone was writer-in-residence at Oxbridge Lane Primary School, Stockton. During that time pupils, parents and teachers were encouraged to write poems on the them of ‘Children’s Games’. A poetry booklet titled ‘Dress Rehearsals’ was produced.

I remember this well and one of my stories and crude drawings ended up in the book. Pictures bring back the memories of where I wrote it. Looking back it was an awful piece of work and not sure how it got in. Felt earlier than 1995!
Great! Anyone know Jaqui from Oxbridge, at the primary mid 1950s onwards? Thanks
Jan
Would that be my sister Jackie Beall, born 1950?
Are you Norman Beall’s brother?
Norman Beall’s father and my father were cousins. Norman and I both attended Richard Hind School but I am a couple of years older.
Jeff was Jackie in the Guides and went to Brunswick coffee bar? Cheers! J
