We used to try and play football at the ‘Rec’ and so it was! in the 1950’s. Good to see it in a better state today.
I lived in Cromwell Terrace in the 1950s it has been improved since then but does not seem to be used much.
My cousins the Moore family lived in Victoria Road and we used to play in the rec.
Used to play here when visiting my aunt in Cromwell Tce.
Happy memories
