This VE Day certificate and medal was given to my uncle William Billsborrow (known as Bill). He was at Primary School at this time in Norton c1945.

If I am thinking right, Bill (Billie as we knew him) lived in the 1st bottom house of Beaconsfield Road in Norton.
Yes, that’s right. He died sadly but my dad Bob and my aunt Ruth (brother and sister) are still around. Dad is in Northwich now and Ruth has lived for many years in Ontario, Canada.
