This is the former site of Wolsey’s Fruit Warehouse.
The offices of North Tees Community Health Council (CHC) is immediately to the right of Baker and Collinson’s. I worked at North Tees CHC as its Chief Officer from November 1982 until we all moved further north up the High Street to offices above the old bank (converted to a “model” shop) in 1997. My office at 24a, was situated between the estate agent and the Sun Inn. They remain the happiest days of my working life.
