I well remember Guthries the plumbers of Hartington Road. My parents who were former Stockton residents used them from time to time.
J M Guthrie were plumbing and heating engineers originally based in Hartington Road Stockton in the 1960s
My copy of copy of Ward’s Directory (1926-27) lists the as plumbers operating from 90 Hartington Road.
I think that JM Guthrie were a taxi company based in Bishopton Lane, Stockton
Definitely plumbers of note in Stockton. Recall Worth the plumbers, too. Does anyone else?
There was a taxi firm of by the name of Gutheries on Bishopton Lane. on the corner of Alma Street.
