This image was printed on a copper plate and three of the figures are missing. I would like to know if anyone recognises where it was taken or anyone pictured.
Could the location be the part of the Malleable Works, in Portrack, which has been used as a timber yard for many years. At least one overhead traveling crane remains – rusted & no longer in use!
The Heads Iron foundry at Teesdale was uncovered until after the war.

If it is any help, there appears to be a Jones KL 44 mobile crane behind them, and an overhead crane behind that. Any help?

Bob, this is not Head Wrightsons, Thornaby, the stockyard had gable ends of the bridgeyard to the left & the template shop on the right.
