A fine building ruined
At least it was saved and is still open to the public. The alternatives probably being private offices/accommodation or a pile of rubble.
I disagree Tony I would much rather see this building turned into a popular pub and used by many, many people, than pulled down and gone forever as has happened to a lot of our towns other once fine buildings.
