I went to the C of E between about 1954 to 1957. Head was Mr Botcherby. His wife was head of the infants. Class teachers in my time there were Mr Sweeting and Mrs Chapman. Remember Mr Sweeting claiming that man would never fly into space because a rocket could never be built powerful enough to leave the gravitational force of the earth.
My mother went to that school, c1920. Never met a pupil that went there, when I was school age, 1953 onwards.
