  1. Mavis Lightowler was married to Luke Casey, Barbara Fishburn was Ernie Temple’s daughter in law, he was the Mayor of Stockton.

    • So that means that Barbara would have been married to Pete Temple. He was a neighbour of mine in Oxbridge Avenue (as were his parents Ernie and Madge Temple).

        • Ahhh those lovely beautiful heady earlyish teenage days of hanging about around the Norton area.
Wendy Speight lived at Acklam and was good friends with Pat Duggan.

    • Anyone know what happened to Jean Stelling. She resided in Northcote Street next door but one to Annette Currey. I was very friendly with them as a teenager. Also wonder what happened to Annette.

      • I knew Annette briefly as we all hung out outside the chippie opposite I think think that she died quite young but I am not completely sure

        • Hello Jean,
How nice to read you are still around. Sad to hear Annette has died. We had some great times – Dennison Street & St. Peters church hall in evenings came to mind. Dave Williams [Now residing in Stokesley]

        • Hello Jean, Not sure if my message got through to you as page was very different from the normal one, so sending it again.

Delighted to hear you are still around. Sad to hear Annette has died. Wonder what happened to her good friend Margaret Smallwood? Dennison Street & St. Peters church hall area on evenings comes to mind – we had some good fun.. I’m now residing in Stokesley, having left 40 Harlsey Road, Hartburn, in 1987.
My very best wishes, Dave Williams [Hartburn Lane]
