Looks like Graeme Pickup in the middle front row.
I remember Graham Pickup going to Tilery School, I left same school Christmas 1962.

Graeme Pickup later played for Head Wrightsons & Tilery as a senior (mens football), good wing half.
I was at the school in 1962 probably in 3b but I do not recognise anybody on this photo. Did the school have teams for different age groups as these lads look very young.
There were 3 teams. Years 1 & 2. Years 3 & 4. Year 5
Hello Peter your name rings a bell and I was in 3b. I can remember going to the old Stockton ground to see the final but not much more, well apart from headmaster Johnny Ross bemoaning that we sang popular football songs instead of the Richard hind song probably because none of knew it.
Yes I know your name as well, did you go to Nogger Board too. Fancy not knowing the Richard Hind song ‘ Pioneers Oh Pioneers’
One looks like the Salter Cup

My late brother Phil Jackson is in this team shot along with Nigel Campbell.
Hi Anthony, I’m in the photo stood next to Mr Benzies. I was a reserve, but played in the team in years 2, 4 and 5. I went to Stockton Grammar while Phil and Nige went to Grangefield Grammar. I then went to Loughborough to do Aero Eng, and low and behold bumped into Phil a few times, when he was out running and I was walking into town. Good but brief chats and off we went our ways. I’m still saddened when I heard Phil had passed.
I think Nigel is still going strong, living in Chester.

When the team won the cup, there was a massive celebration in the school yard.
Noel Huitson was the son of Alan Huitson a foreman ln the Machine Shop, Head Wrightsons, Thornaby.
