In the 1950s (aged Ca. 7-10 years), we’d attend a “panto” around New Year. (“Cinderella” is still recalled as, at the back of the stage a moving light – representing a stagecoach – steadily proceeding towards a castle…
I’m sure I remember this pantomime at the Globe. Was it late 50s?
We used to go there with either ICI or British Legion good old days …
