  1. The building next door became Ray Alan manshops, I worked there in 1979-1982. It was demolished and is now the site of McDonalds or was before I moved away.

    • Hi so good for me to see this photo. As a child my grandfather would take me to the Waverley cafe, what a treat it was. Grandad would order tea and cakes and the lady would come ever so smart in her black and white uniform, it was grand. The memories will stay with me for ever. If only it was here today so I could take my children.
