To the North of the Church ,in Church Road, is a small terrace of late 1600 alms-house cottages, now private housing. At ST Agnes Alm-Houses, note the very small now brick infilled windows and first-floor ‘straigt-combing ‘to support the upper floor. While on the North side of Church look at the now infilled Norman ‘Devils-Door’
