  1. I am wanting to start a Cowley family tree so if anyone has started a tree tracing the Cowley family from Stockton particularly the Mill Lane ares (Stockton town centre, Dovecot street/ Norton) I would appreciate your help as dont want to ask too many questions. I am trying to do it as a suprise for my grandad Edward( Tedd)

  2. Heather, if you look at the 1881 census which is free to view there are members of the Liddle family in Stockton and a huge number of the Cowley family. I am sure other census will give you the info you want for your tree. Good hunting.

  3. I am trying to locate records for my family tree. My nanna, Edith Liddle ( nee Cowley) was a member of the Salvation Army as well as my mother Joan Corrigan(nee Liddle). My 2 aunties Marion and Kathleen also were members. My parents (martin Corrigan & Joan Liddle) got married at St Paul Church in Stockton on 20 September 1958. My Nanna passed away in 1959. Any help would be appreciated.
