Chris Corner – I was searching this site for any information or photo relating to my grandmothers father when your name popped up, talk about deja vu. My Grandmother was Ada Ethel Corner and her father was Christopher Corner(bn 1832). He was station master at Thornaby in 1891. His son was a Christopher Corner too (bn 1863) and was also a Station Master in the area. If you have any connection or information could you email me please.
Your Great Grandfather John Sayer must hve been Tommy Little’s wife’ father. Tommy was the well liked fish shop owner in Hume Street, his fish & chips were a good meal in the forties & fifties for the kids of the Gashouse & Station area, they all respected him.28/03/2012 22:58:50
