  1. These two Dennis Dominators (GAJ200&201V) fleetnumbers H200/1) are posed on Yarm High Street for an official Cleveland Transit publicity photograph (probably taken by Jack Marriott). This pair were the first of a batch of twenty three buses (H200 – 222)delivered between 1980 and 1986. They were the first Dennis Dominators anywhere in the Country to have bodywork by Northern Counties (Transit”s regular bodywork supplier for double deck buses). They lasted until the Stagecoach era, and after withdrawl in 1995, some of them (these two included)ended up on sightseeing work in London. After this, this pair were sold abroad to an operator in Continental Europe and ended up being scrapped in a yard near Copenhagen.

  2. These were really great days for the Bus service. I thought the green and yellow livery was just about perfect. This Photograph brings back many very very happy memories for me.
