  1. This United Automobile Services vehicle, is one of a number of AEC Lorry Buses, acquired at the end of the First World War. After hostilities, there was a surplus of Army Lorries, and Bus operators were in desperate need of serviceable vehicles. These particular vehicles were acquired in 1920, coming from AEC, after having run in London as Lorry Buses for the London General Omnibus Company. The bodywork is very crude and utility, and this batch were rebodied with proper Bus Bodies by United in late 1920. They ran until 1921.
