My parents held their wedding reception in the Co-operative Hall in George Street, Thornaby in 1961. Is this the building where the hall would have been?
I used to work at this branch in the early 50″s we also had the money pully system. It was a great branch to work in. From there I transferred to the travelling shops in Stockton, happy days.
