My sister, Lynn and myself were two of the bridesmaids at the last wedding to be held in the Brunswick church in i think 1970 or 71. IT was Elizabeth Procter who married Kevin Cullen. Elizabeth was a sunday school teacher there and we used to go to Sunday school without fail every week. Elizabeth also ran a choir from there, sure we called ourselves brunswick singers, we used to go round old peoples homes and give concerts, wore blue pochos with a white tassle trim, i seem to remeber. I used to go to church some Sunday evenings with my Nana, Sarah Maher, until it closed down, she was a member of the Mothers Union, think it was called. I was also baptised at the church as was my sister and my brother. years 1962, 63 and 68. I would also like to know how to trace the records for the church. Also to hear from anyone who used to go to the church or was in Elizabeths choir.
My grandparents were married at Brunswick Methodist Chapel in the 1920″s. I wondered if anyone could tell where I could find information on the chapel and where the BMD indexes are kept.
