2nd from the right, front row, next to Brian Reed is Christopher Baker. 3rd left front row is either Ian or David Mcdonald, could never tell which was which. Good swimmers too.13/03/2012 21:17:52
I think the boy on the back row 3rd from left is Andrew Grabham.
I can certainly help with one, that”s me 2nd from right front row next to Brian Read. The only others I can have a stab at would be Ron Bainbridge back left, x, then Philip Martin and the tallest boy was called McDonald. I think the next boy is then Mark Strachan. Steven Hogarth is front left.
Yes, I can confirm that the teacher”s name was Mr Barry Sawyer, himself a former pupil at Holy Trinity. He was the youngest of the three Sawyer brothers who were pupils and my young brother. He died in October 2006 after several illnesses. He became Head of Marton Road Junior School that was succeeded as Abingdon School, Middlesbrough.
I believe the teachers name was Mr. Sawyer.
