The book shop that was between John Street & the Leeds Hotel on Bishopton Lane was called Blanchnays.
Can anyone remember the name of the other book shop that used to be on Bishopton Lane in the fifties/sixties? I believe it was on the corner….
This has been discussed a long time ago, especially where each of the shops were placed on Bishopton Lane. I believe that as a boy when I couldn’t get a train spotter book I got one in a book shop here. I would think that either John Robson or Anon would be able to help with this.
