A view of the Union Arms, High Street, Yarm. Just visible above the modern sign, carved into the keystone of the coach-arch which once led to stabling at the rear, is the date 1762. The general facade to this building can also be seen to have an unusual decorative brick-pattern, by combining both red and beige stocks.

Nice patterned brickwork with the handmade headers and stretchers.
But how did they make the white bricks, or would they have been imported from further afield?
Probably made from natural stone using and manufactured from drawings and templates.
