  3. This was the old Co-op fruit & veg shop on the corner of Hume Street in the forties & fifties, opposite to the Stockton Grammar School (now the Buffs Club).

    • My grandparents owned a fruit and veg shop here many many years ago I wonder if they took it over from the co-op.

    • Charltons closed temporarily when Godwins Furniture shop was badly damaged by a fire last year and was demolished because it was unsafe.
