  1. This building was originally, Stafford Place Methodist Chapel. I was married here Wednesday, 25th March 1964. I believe two Weddings took place on the following Saturday, before the chapel closed, and later becoming a Garage.

  2. I bought a new Mini from Albert in 1966, reg MUP 849 D, and it cost, in those days, £515 on the road! I lived in St Pauls Road, so it was quite handy for me. He was a very nice chap, always obliging.

  3. I used to work the bellows to the side of the organ on sundays at Stafford place Methodist church, 1950s.

  4. When I left school in 1967 I worked for Albert for a few months, inside were still many Church pieces, including the clock and memorials on the walls, the building still stands today (2015)

  5. Albert became a very good friend of mine. He used to service my cars and actually he supplied me with my first 2 cars which were both Minors, the 1st one being a 745cc engine whilst the 2nd being the Minor 1000. At one time in his younger years played cricket for the Wynyard team.
