Did this building once House the ‘La Ronde’ nightclub, I once frequented many years ago!!
No it was a different building Paul. The La Ronde was at the other end of the west precinct entrance, about a hundred yards from Dawson house. Pedestrian access to the La Ronde was via stairs in the entrance to the precinct, which was not far from Dawson house.
No , the La Ronde was behind Kingsway House on the right. If you click on the thread title ‘Dawson House , Billingham’ it will show you some related photos one of which is the La Ronde. I never went inside but do remember it being demolished!
