An advertising postcard for G. Brown & Bros. of Portrack, Stockton-on-Tees. The card is dated 1908. I think this relates to the Browns Foundry, Portrack Lane on this site.

Seems to be a single cylinder steam engine, which were becoming obsolescent by this time. Browns should have made contact with Power Gas in Bowesfield and started thinking about IC engies running on producer or town gas.
