This is a programme for a production of Babes In The Wood On Ice staged by European Sports Promotions Limited at the Globe Theatre, Stockton in 1953. The stars were Alice Farrar as Maid Marion and Jimmy Carter as Robin Hood.

  1. It may or may not have been this show but I distinctly remember seeing a pantomime on ice at the Globe at around that time when one of skaters was twizzing volunteers from the audience round and one chap’s trousers flew off. The curtain came down pretty quickly!
