I ought to have gone to Stockton Trinity School (which premises seemed a tad cramped for the number of pupils attending)… I “passed the scholarship” at Egglescliffe CE, attending Grangefield Grammar school from 1960-65 for my “O” levels, then once at work (BR District Civil Engineer’s Dept.) to “Tech” for ONC then HND, courtesy British Rail (yet with MUCH reduced Govt. grants!). However, in 1986 I gained a Degree in Civil Engineering “With Commendation” after a VERY kindly ‘Head Honcho’ on BR Western Region unexpected offered further sponsorship in 1982.

We were taught that “Richard Hind has a raggy behind”…
I was born that year…
Henry V by Shakespeare maybe?
More likely to be a Robin Hood pantomime I would think.
