My uncle use to come down from Scotland, for a fornight holiday every year, the first thing he did after getting off the train was head for this pub. He didn’t think his holiday had started till he’d had a pint in the Station
I have fell out those doors many times. A good pint and landlord. Its a shame it was demolished only to be moved to a much inferior building
