Looks like Redland Tiles was still in business. What a pity it couldn’t be remembered by the new housing estate. Instead it’s called the elms. We knew it as Ozzys Wood. But times move on.
Great photo, I can see Ozzy wood at the top of the photo. Spent many an hour playing in the woods. I remember a large pond, although I can’t see it on the photo. The woods seemed much bigger when I was smaller. Happy days.
The pond was filled in and the wood was originally larger in the 50’s / 60’s. Where Redlands Tiles used to be, there were farm sales, then car booters. I think it is now sold and ready for development.
