Class A3 60092 Fairway c1963
This photograph shows a scruffy looking class A3 60092 Fairway heading south, on the lunchtime parcels train on 20 July 1963, just after passing under the Phoenix Sidings footbridge. An interesting feature at this point was an old turntable just out of shot to the right. I do not recall seeing any signs of recent use at this time and the area has since been redeveloped into a car park.
