This photograph was taken around 1990 and is a view of the shops on Norton Road terrace next to the corner of Victoria Avenue. It shows BA Hutchinsons DIY store which was formerly the Coop chemists shop, Tops Hairdressers which was formerly the greengrocers and an Indian take-away which used to be the XL Fish n Chip Shop. The Transcom shop was once Snowdens Grocery and Off-Licence.
