The Plaza Theatre, Bishop Street, Stockton. c1944
A view of the front of the Plaza Theatre, Bishop Street, Stockton. A theatre opened on the site in 1866 called The Star, this was demolished by fire in 1883. The Grand Theatre was opened in 1892 and renamed the Plaza in c1936, closed in 1959, demolished 1969. The building was used as both a theatre and cinema. c1944
