t13416 t13417The Sir Nigel Gresley at Eaglescliffe Station, 13 February 2014. These A4 steam engines were a very familiar sight on the east coast main line and probably through both Eaglescliffe and Stockton stations too?
Sadly, they now only run on special occasions and there are only three of them that do ‘steam’.
