A band who were part of the ‘British Invasion’ in the US in the 1960s were The Dave Clark Five. This photograph shows them performing on stage, Thursday 7th May, 1964 at the Globe.

These two photographs show a hospital ward in Stockton and Thornaby hospital. Shown on these photographs is Florence Walker later Spence who was a nurse at this hospital for many years. Florence Spence is standing at the back on the left in the first photograph and again on the left in the second c1915
The ruins of Stockton Castle I believe stood on land behind were the present Swallow Hotel is. The castle dates from the 1370s having been a Manor House earlier. It was demolished in the 1650s with the exception of the Barn which it was demolished in the 1860s.

These three photographs are of 19th century cyclists and their machines, all from the Stockton Cycling Club. The photographs show scenes from the many meetings or cycling expeditions the Stockton Cycling Club had around the area. Does anyone recognise where they are?

This photograph was taken in 1911 probably in Norton. My grandfather ‘Richard White’ is back row far left, and my father also ‘Richard White’ is front sitting. My grandfather was a coachman in Norton, he married Elizabeth Jane Dunn of Stockton in 1896. Does anyone recognize the others?
