St Bedes Football Team 1971/72
This was a team assembled under the guidance of manager/coach Mick Lawler, a well know figure and metalwork teacher at St Bedes. The team competed in the Teesside & Cleveland Under 18 League 1971/72 along side other teams which included Middlesbrough Juniors, Hartlepool Juniors, South Bank etc. During this season the team won three trophies namely: North Riding Minor Cup, The Bradburn Bowl and the South East Durham Divisional Cup and finished in a respectable position in the league.
